Arabinda Acharya is Manager Strategic Projects at the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research. He was an External Research Associate, York University Joint Centre for Asia Pacific Studies University of Toronto and a Visiting Research Fellow, Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (RCSS) Colombo, Sri Lanka.
His area of research includes Foreign and Security Policy; Asia-Pacific Political and Strategic Affairs; Conflict Studies; Human Security and Terrorism and Political Violence with specialization in terrorist ideology, terrorist financing and maritime terrorism. He has presented in a number of international conferences on regionalism, human security and terrorism issues including on global and regional terrorist threat, maritime terrorism, terrorist financing and ideology.
